RP1012: Next Generation Low-Emissivity Pliable Membranes for Moisture Management in Building Construction

Project leader name:
Steve King, UNSW
Project status:
Complete
Project period:
01/2014 to 12/2014

The project addresses emerging moisture management and condensation risk in Australian buildings. The potential moisture damage to homes is on a national scale and has been identified with increased standards for home insulation. The energy-efficiency gains from increased thermal insulation cannot be realised without adequate moisture management, as the performance of most insulation is compromised by dampness.
